    SCIENTIFIC NAME: Chamaeleo calyptratus

    DESCRIPTION: We have some beautiful captive bred and born Baby Veiled Chameleons for sale. These are one of the most unique reptiles in the world. From their independent rotating eyes to their tongues that shoot out of their mouths when they capture their prey. Veiled Chameleons are the hardiest of all chameleon species and are a fantastic beginner chameleon.

    MAXIMUM ADULT SIZE: 12 - 20"

    DIET: Variety of appropriately sized insects. Staple Diet consists of live crickets. These are available under our Food and Feeders Section.

    HABITAT: Provide a large, screened cage with live plants, plus UVB light and basking light (unless unfiltered sunlight is provided). Temperatures can range from the upper 60s at night to upper 90s under the basking light. No water bowl needed as they drink from dripping or misting water.

    ORIGIN: Yemen, Africa
