Live Reptile Shipping Information

At ReptMart, we take shipping seriously to ensure your reptile arrives safely and in excellent condition. Our team has over 15 years of experience shipping reptiles, using temperature-controlled materials and careful handling to protect your order every step of the way.

Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to: District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, or any area prohibited by law.

  • We do not export outside the continental U.S.

Shipping Method

  • All live animals are shipped FedEx Overnight (Monday–Wednesday).

  • Flat rate: $59.99 per order — no extra fees for heat packs, ice packs, cryo packs, or additional insulation.

  • Live Arrival Guarantee applies when all shipping requirements are met.

  • Shipping times:

    • Monday → arrives Tuesday

    • Tuesday → arrives Wednesday

    • Wednesday → arrives Thursday

Orders placed after 2 PM Monday will ship the next available shipping day.

Note: Overnight shipping refers to transit time, not order processing time. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days after fulfillment. Tracking numbers are emailed after 6 PM EST.

Weather & Hold for Pickup

When local temperatures are below 40°F or above 90°F, we will automatically hold your package for pickup at the nearest FedEx Ship Center (not a FedEx Office, Walgreens, or PakMail).
We determine the correct facility using your ZIP code.

If you’d like to find your nearest approved FedEx Ship Center:

  1. Visit the FedEx website.

  2. Click “More”, then select “Dangerous Goods” for accurate locations.

Our team will confirm the exact pickup location when processing your order.

Delivery Requirements

  • Someone must be available to pick up or receive the package upon arrival.

  • Failure to do so voids the Live Arrival Guarantee.

  • Weather delays or FedEx service interruptions may affect delivery times.


Terms & Conditions

Refunds & Cancellations

  • No refunds on live animals or frozen rodents.

  • Dry goods may be returned unopened for store credit only, at the buyer’s expense.

  • $10 cancellation fee applies to all orders (waived if the item is out of stock).

  • Orders delayed due to weather are held until it is safe to ship — no refunds for weather-related holds.

  • No refunds for refused packages.

Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

In the rare event of a DOA animal:

  1. Notify us within 2 hours of delivery.

  2. Do not dispose of the animal until we confirm next steps.

  3. Shipping fees are non-refundable, even if FedEx is delayed.

Animal & Product Photos

Images on ReptMart.com are representative stock photos. Actual animals may vary in color or pattern.
If you’d like to see the exact animal you’ll receive, contact us for photos before purchasing.

Turtles & Tortoises

All turtles and tortoises under 4 inches are sold for scientific or educational purposes only.

Out-of-Stock Items

If an animal or product is unavailable at the time of purchase, we’ll notify you promptly.
Items in stock typically ship same or next business day.
