SCIENTIFIC NAME: Testudo horsfeldi
DESCRIPTION: We have some gorgeous CBB Baby Russian Tortoises for sale. These Baby Russian Tortoises are approximately 1 1/2". Russian Tortoises are a smaller tortoise species requiring a smaller setup as opposed to other large tortoises such as Sulcata Tortoises. They are very hardy and do well in an air conditioned low humidity environment this makes them a perfect indoor tortoise. Babies should be offered water/soaked in a very shallow water dish 3 times weekly.
MAXIMUM ADULT SIZE: 8 - 10"
DIET: Dark Leafy Greens and Mazuri Tortoise Diet.
HABITAT: Large container. Temperature of 75F - 85F with basking area of mid 80s for babies. Provide Unfiltered sunlight or UV bulbs during the daytime. We recommend our Alfalfa Pellets listed below as a great low humidity bedding for Russian Tortoises.
