DESCRIPTION: These lizards are also known as "Jesus Lizards"
MAXIMUM ADULT SIZE: around 2 feet
DIET: Feeds on a variety of insects and vegetation
HABITAT: These lizards love to climb, they require branches and some cage with height. They need both UVA and UVB lighting as well as a basking area kept at around 95 degrees. Cypress mulch or soil bedding is needed to keep about 80% humidity in cage.

Green Basilisk
Honestly one of the coolest lizards I feel like anybody can own. I got a male Green Basilisk on November 8th 2022. From this exact site, and so far he has been a blast to have. He is nearly a year and half now. They are very timid and skittish. But like with any animal. You spend time and effort to interact with them everyday. They will warm up to you. They are straight up insectovores, so be sure to have plenty of crickets, roaches, mealworms and super worms on hand. The also love to swim. So have a nice water dish for them to soak in. I do hope more will be available in the near future, so I can get a female next!
