Dumeril's Boa/Customer Service
I don't necessarily have anything super negative and it's possible that certain aspects may not completely be their fault, but nevertheless, it was my experience. To start with the bad, other reviews I read raved about the customer service. I can't say my experience was the same. I sent two or three messages with questions that were never responded to. They became more likely to respond once I purchased, but still relatively slow. When a message did come through, they weren't really complete sentences and lacked all sorts of punctuation and grammar. I'm sorry if that seems trivial, but it feels unprofessional. Next, they sent the animal to a FedEx shipping dock by the local airport. This location is not intended for holding or customer pickup. The animal sat outside in the loading dock area which negates the reason it was sent there in the first place. Not every location that says, "FedEx", operates the same. This caused quite the confusion and delay. I was told it would be sent to a holding facility, then I noticed the tracking said "out for delivery". To make sure, I called and spoke to a representative to find out they showed it had been delivered. This opened a case with FedEx and they began to track down the package. I got a call later that day to explain and I picked the animal up from the aforementioned loading dock. They informed me that they don't know why it was addressed and sent to them and that if it keeps happening, they will start refusing the package. Ok, headaches and anxiety overcome. My male Dumeril's Boa is GORGEOUS!!! The contrast of black and browns against the bright peaches and whites are stunning! At around 16", he's also the perfect size to start with. He even shed the second day with me. I couldn't be more pleased with the animal, itself.

Dumeril boa
Got a male Dumeril boa. He arrived healthy, alert, and sassy. Have had him a little over a week and he's amazing, zero complaints about the animal and he is an awesome eater. The only complaint is, I ordered him late night on a weekday and expected him to be shipped next day. That didn't happen. Tried to make contact through email got no response. Couldn't find a phone # to call. Tried messaging on facebook, no response. Then 2 days after I ordered I got a shipping conf number email and he arrived the day after that. So as far as the animal itself I would give 5 stars, but communication from the company I'd give 2 stars (because I did get a purchase receipt and a shipping conf, so that does count for something). Overall I am happy with him.
